Vagabonds of the Western World by Thin Lizzy, released in 1973, was the band’s third studio album and the last to feature founding guitarist Eric Bell. It marked a turning point in their sound, embracing a more defined hard rock direction. The album includes early highlights such as “The Rocker,” which became a live favorite, and the emotionally resonant “Little Girl in Bloom.” Phil Lynott’s songwriting began to take on greater depth and personality here, setting the stage for the band’s future evolution.
