In April 2024, David Byrne and Paramore released a special 12-inch vinyl single titled "Hard Times / Burning Down the House" exclusively for Record Store Day. This limited edition, with only 5,000 copies pressed, features each artist covering a song by the other.
The release coincided with the tribute album Everyone's Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense, where Paramore's cover of "Burning Down the House" served as the lead single. David Byrne praised Paramore's rendition, calling it "amazing."
