Released in 2016, Flygod is the debut studio album by Buffalo rapper and Griselda Records founder Westside Gunn. A bold and raw introduction to Gunn’s grimy, luxury-laced aesthetic, the album established him as a crucial voice in underground hip-hop. With gritty beats, avant-garde skits, and vivid street narratives, Flygod balances unfiltered street realism with high-art ambition.

The album features production from Daringer, Camoflauge Monk, Statik Selektah, and The Alchemist, blending dusty soul samples with eerie minimalism. It includes appearances from Conway the Machine, Benny the Butcher, Your Old Droog, Danny Brown, and Roc Marciano, among others — building out the early framework of the Griselda movement.
