Released on February 9, 2024, Coming Home is Usher's ninth studio album and his first solo project since 2016's Hard II Love. The album coincided with his performance at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, marking a significant return to the spotlight.

Coming Home signifies a creative reunion between Usher and L.A. Reid, who last collaborated on the 2004 diamond-certified album Confessions. Recorded primarily in Atlanta, the album features contributions from prominent producers, including Sean Garrett, Lil Jon, The Avila Brothers, Mel & Mus, Tricky Stewart, Rico Love, The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri, and D'Mile.
