A Light for Attracting Attention is the debut studio album by The Smile, a collaboration between Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, along with drummer Tom Skinner. Released digitally on May 13, 2022, through XL Recordings, with a physical release on June 17, 2022, the album showcases a blend of art rock, post-punk, progressive rock, and electronica.

The album features strings by the London Contemporary Orchestra and a brass section comprising contemporary UK jazz musicians, including Byron Wallen, Theon and Nathaniel Cross, Chelsea Carmichael, Robert Stillman, and Jason Yarde.
